WEUHA AFFILIATE MEMBERS

WEUHA's affiliate standing committees come together to focus initiatives towards specific health themes:

• WEUHA's Mental Health and Addiction Affiliate is comprised of representation from 19 mental health service providers in the West End of Toronto.  The Affiliate provides a forum for mental health and addictions healthcare providers to share information, best practices and advocate on behalf of consumers.  

• WEUHA's Nutrition Affiliate was formed in 1998 to work on filling service gaps related to food security and nutrition services; monitor and research food security and nutrition needs and gaps; document and coordinate nutrition resources among WEUHA members; and, seek funding for research. 

• WEUHA's Homeless Care Affiliate is being formed in 2010 to help identify the both the available services and the gaps in services to meet the needs of the homeless and under-housed in west Toronto.
